Laundry Project:-
Loyalty cards are purchased by Zonta from a local laundry. The electronic cards allow the recipient to have several laundry visits.
Packages are made up to include the laundry card, instructions and enough soap powder for several washes. It appears that many recipients take advantage of the larger machines to wash and dry their bedding as a first preference.
Packages are distributed to local organisations who pass these on to clients.
Cost to Zonta is approximately $45 per pack.
