Girls in STEM Program

Since 2017 the club has supported Grade 6 girls at attend monthly STEM focused programs at the Discovery Science & Technology Centre in Bendigo.
The program began with 4 schools and now has 14 participating, including Heathcote & Tooborac. More than 500 girls in the Greater Bendigo region have participated Igniting young mind to learn more about Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths. The program also gives the girls a chance to learn leadership and communication skills. To consolidate this learning we provide each girl with an annual Family Discovery membership. This valuable program has included girls from the following schools:
