Girls in STEM Program

Since 2017 the club has supported Grade 6 girls at attend monthly STEM focused programs at the Discovery Science & Technology Centre in Bendigo.
The program began with 4 schools and now has 14 participating, including Heathcote & Tooborac. More than 500 girls in the Greater Bendigo region have participated Igniting young mind to learn more about Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths. The program also gives the girls a chance to learn leadership and communication skills. To consolidate this learning we provide each girl with an annual Family Discovery membership. Current funding is $2500 per year.
